I think perhaps porn gives people, especially men, unrealistic expectations. But I think the same about Mills and Boon novels - life isn't like that. Real people aren't like that.

I don't suppose it will ever go away but I think it's a bit sad and desperate, really.

I had a look at 50 Shades ... in the book shop and it was very badly written. If women want to read porn they should at least try literate porn. ;-)

Can't beat Lady C for that, in my book. I spent quite a lot of time as a teenager reading what went on by that chicken coop ;-)

No qualifications or intelligence needed,,,,,,,,,,,think this is why many apply for the industry.

The film makers must have days when they have no appitite..... ;-)

My Dad found my copy of Lady C. I got a right telling off.

He used to buy N.of The World but nobody else was allowed to look at it and put it under the seat cushion in his chair.

Its no wonder I am so naive :-( :-(

We had one copy of Lady C at school, which was passed around. Someone had the foresight to remove the cover and replace it with 'Black Beauty'. You should've done that Barb :-D

Seems like it's coffee ( or tea) and biccies all round then :-)

I was just reminded of a film I went to see a long time ago,( must have been an 18+..though I don'ty think it was particularly pornographic) the gist of it was that it was set in a clinic for couples with sexual hangups...all I remember about it now was that they had a bedroom, and that at the end of the film the 'punchline' was that "we never did work out what the stepladder was for"....lol neither did I :-)

Being serious for a mo. My dau.in law told me she was reading 50 shades and would I like to read it after her. WELL!!!
I only knew about it from the thread on here so I had the gist of it.
Found myself a bit hot under the collar and said no thanks, not really my thing.
How times have changed. :-) :-) :-)

John you must have had a very progressive teacher. When at all girls school in Walsall sex was never mentioned, well not by the teachers anyway ;-)

50 shades was a pile of tripe - read a part of the first one and then sold the trilogy for a fiver!!! now Lady C - that's a classic and som of H E Bates' books are on the racey side as well

of course for tittilation you can look at the free porn channels on Sky but they are very boring after you've looked at one or two of them - girls with breasts that never move - like headlamps
