I'll send it via a pm Ann :-D

Phyll Report 16 Feb 2013 22:26

I am in agony too - need 2 new knees and possibly 2 hips. I wish they would spend some more money investigating RA and more pain relief instead of spending more money on IVF for over 40's and same sex couples.

AnnCardiff Report 16 Feb 2013 22:26

and I'll post it in your name :-D

Rats! I hadn't thought of that :-|

I'll have to consult the all-knowing Buddha, although I've seen him posting for a while. I also think that Buddah may not quite have been the word I was searching for :-)

GeordiePride Report 16 Feb 2013 22:32

Rambling Rose Report 16 Feb 2013 22:43

Allan I won't attempt to sing it but 'They're coming to take me away' was one of our family favourites :-D

AnnCardiff Report 16 Feb 2013 22:44

do I care - not jot - I've just drunk half a bottle of wine and as someone who rarely drinks I feel a tad on the squiffy side - still it's taken my mind off my excruciating pain

AnnCardiff Report 16 Feb 2013 23:04

now that is clever!!!!

Allan Report 16 Feb 2013 23:09

Alas Ann, I cannot claim authorship of my last limerick but it is a good one

Now try this one, but it does need a little thought

There was a young man from Hyde
Who fell down a privy and died
Then there was his brother who fell down another.
Now they're interred side by side

This thread has made me chuckle....apart from Ann in pain sending mushy squidgy huggles :-D ;-) <3

Allan Report 16 Feb 2013 23:26

Now that was a blast from the past Wend. I was 13 back then :-(

maggiewinchester Report 16 Feb 2013 23:35

I was 5. I remember the song, but we didn't have a TV.
Interesting set of partings in his hair :-D (he puts his head down near the end)

Wend Report 16 Feb 2013 23:37

Hugs for Ann. Also Phyll, who posted earlier in this thread. Don't like to think of any one in pain.
