He used to live in Brigadoon, but now lives in East Perth. once a very depressed area but now very swanky after a total redevelopment :-)

nice sentiments Leslie, but with all due respect, you have not been on the boards long enough to see how John works - and it is not a case of Errol being his shadow, rather the other way around

one a few occasions now John has been asked politely to leave threads becuse of his barbed comments - never TOLD - as he claims, no one has the right to tell him, but he persists in spite of it

he is the only person who caused dissent on our long running Welsh thread and was politely asked to leave - that is one occasion when he responded positively

He ha admitted on more than one occasion that he gets enjoyment out of winding people up and he is excellent at it - he has regaled us with details of his working and private life and then explodes that people are digging around for info on him, when in fact he is the supplier of that information

on rare occasions he can be quite nice, but there is always a sting in the tail

take a look at Jude's thread on potential viewers for her house and you wuill see exactly what I mean

no doubt he will come on here and explain to you what he finds so enjoyable about winding people up

I've been a fan forever (well, since my teens) and been to a couple of gigs.

My teacher once told me that the Shadows would be forgotten in a year or so but Mozart would still be being played.

I'll bet more Shadows tunes have been played in the fifty intervening years than Mozart !
