MR_MAGOO Report 14 Jul 2013 21:53

Today must have the record for RR's.

Errol must have the record for the most in one thread.

Someone is going to be busy on Monday in the GR office....... :-D

Porkie_Pie

Porkie_Pie Report 14 Jul 2013 22:11

Not quite MR M, but I wouldn't call it being RR'd I call it being bullied into not posting further comment, Happened to me recently on another board by I suspect the same Troll as with Errol.

Roy

Edit, The troll failed, I refuse to be bullied

MR_MAGOO

MR_MAGOO Report 14 Jul 2013 22:16

Possibly Roy.....not having seen all the RR'd posts i can't really comment. But the thread doesn't deserve that sort of treatment.

Porkie_Pie

Porkie_Pie Report 14 Jul 2013 22:20

Correct MR M it doesn't which is why I have refrained from posting on the thread itself

Roy

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 14 Jul 2013 22:22

the thread certainly did not deserve that sort of treatment

and nor did Errol's posts

The ones I saw were not worthy of RR'ing ............. except for bullying and harassment.

He dared to disagree with advice that the putative RR'er had given ...................

................ but he did also reveal that person's earlier board name in other posts :-D

Allan

Allan Report 14 Jul 2013 22:22

Whatever the reason, the RR's were totally unacceptable considering the nature of the thread.

Not often that I make comment about such things, but in this case.... :-|

GlitterBaby Report 14 Jul 2013 22:24

Got no idea why I got sent for review either.

Perhaps someone does not like food colouring in their cupcakes the same as me

KempinaPartyhat

KempinaPartyhat Report 14 Jul 2013 22:25

and the RR er dont even have the guts to own up and tell us why he/she thinks the posts are wrong ....

GUTLESS

Porkie_Pie

Porkie_Pie Report 14 Jul 2013 22:28

I don't think the posters earlier board name should be an issue, We all have a member number that stays regardless of board name changes and then their the fact GR itself have an Error when changing board names, old threads don't always show in your new board name, But when you post using the new board name and the old one stays on the board but not in the thread itself then it becomes obvious who is posting

MR_MAGOO Report 14 Jul 2013 22:30

227 different people have looked that thread, only ONE(as far as we know) didn't like what they saw.

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 14 Jul 2013 22:33

doh - missed it - which thread :-S

KempinaPartyhat

KempinaPartyhat Report 14 Jul 2013 22:33

But why dont people have the guts to say I reported that post?????????????

MR_MAGOO

MR_MAGOO Report 14 Jul 2013 22:33

You can not renew your membership and then rejoin with a new number.

Kay????

Kay???? Report 14 Jul 2013 22:36

It maybe even people reporting who want you to think its a member under a new name doing it just to keep the prodding going and then the assumptions and sly digs,

its been done before in the past.

KempinaPartyhat

KempinaPartyhat Report 14 Jul 2013 22:37

Ann its the thread by purple about advice needed RE headteacher

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 14 Jul 2013 22:38

oh thanks - can't see why that was reported - simply asking for advice

Porkie_Pie

Porkie_Pie Report 14 Jul 2013 22:39

Kay, As KempinaPartyhat said if people have the guts to say they reported it and why then the tactic wouldn't not work

Roy

KempinaPartyhat

KempinaPartyhat Report 14 Jul 2013 22:42

its bullying what is happening and GR should step in and stop those who repeatedly report from reporting I,m sure their report button can be removed this would give GR an advantage over other sites that they will not accept bullies on their site beating other sites to it

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 14 Jul 2013 22:46

just looked at the thread - I didn't make any postings on it as I wouldn't know what to do - but had I made a posting I feel, like Errol, I would have been reported - having seen who is contributing on that thread - I say no more

Renes

Renes Report 14 Jul 2013 22:48

It is quite ridiculous if, as has been muted, the whole RRd farce, on a serious thread, is because one member used, or did not use, another members board name .... Or rather her former board name ...

It is not, as if, this is an infraction of the Data Protection guidelines,

Cannot imagine anyone taking a complaint seriously that reads

" Well ErrolSheep would not call me Cupcake"

And Mr Magoo , Porkie Pie ,KempinaPartyhat , discussed it but AnnCardiff missed it

When do the men in white coats arrive ........
