g'night Ms Scozz ma'am.

John do you really have to keep copying and pasting phrases from one thread to another? It's tedious to say the least.

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 31 Aug 2013 18:03

Critique. Several posters have tried desperately to keep this thread alive out of respect for OP. But it was a 6 year old story that amused us all in 2007 and difficult to find it quite so funny all these years later.

John if you cannot play nicely please do not try to disrupt someone else's thread. It could be seen by some as rude and discourteous.

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 31 Aug 2013 18:12

AnnCardiff thank you so much for trying desperately to keep my thread alive. I don't know what I would do without all you kind people.

JustJohn Report 31 Aug 2013 18:15

Thank you Errol. We have all done our best for you :-) :-)

John please do not flatter yourself - it is a sin

Talk tidy.

JustJohn Report 1 Sep 2013 13:34

There is a Welsh mountain in Tenerife called Mount Tidy.

A journey up there on a German bus is hailed as as Teidefahrt :-0

John pack it in!!

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 1 Sep 2013 13:37

and?

John please don't nudge my threads - it is neither wanted nor required.

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 1 Sep 2013 14:26

There is an obvious solution if you don't want this excellent thread nudging forwards.

Are you really a sheep? Or just pretending?

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 1 Sep 2013 14:27

Mount Teidi actually

and there's only one pretender on these boards - you're at it again, trying to stir up trouble again - shouldn't you be out somewhere preaching at some poor unsuspecting people?

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 1 Sep 2013 14:33

Expecting some pedant to correct you, AnnC. So I will have to.

Pico del Teide in Spanish, Mount Teide in English.

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 1 Sep 2013 14:36

so how have you corrected me pray - and pedant is not the adjective I would use to describe you - no way - there is a four letter word beginning and ending with "t" which sums it up quite nicely - your starter for ten

John have you been to Churcharama and had too many smarties :-D :-D ;-)

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 1 Sep 2013 14:42

But certainly not Mount Tidy pmsl (awaits edit)

Now John, dear fellow, please for once read what is there and not what you THINK or WANT to be there.

There's a good chap.

Where did I say I did not want this thread nudging? It is rather nice that some people like to frequently add to my threads actually.

There is only one person I have asked not to nudge my threads. Now who on earth could that be? I forget their name so easily.

My dear AnnCardiff, how the Dickens are you? Have you had a fun weekend? ;-)

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 1 Sep 2013 14:46

Still not prepared to say what purpose of two threads is then, Errol. Are you a bit shy perhaps? It is nice you have a backing group to deflect my question by gyrations and witty banter.

But I refer you to my question.

Choccy Report 1 Sep 2013 14:50

John, does a thread have to have a purpose?! Do all your threads have a purpose?

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 1 Sep 2013 14:52

What was the purpose of this thread? And has the Opening Poster achieved his purpose? Is it light hearted fun - taking the p out of professional and rather wealthy young musicians. Is it to take the p out of the use of the term "mild language"? Is it to take the rise out of other posters, or himself perhaps. Puzzled of Ystrad Mynach :-S

Choccy. Often I and others are asked why they put up a thread. We have the right to ask. Polite people give answers.
