Because I moved a workshop stool that has been in my dinning room for over a year and not used in all that time. I only put it in the cellar out of the way so that I could get round easier to vac'. Came in after a lovely day with my sister and after I'd taken the dog on the field went for my vac' to clear up the grass I'd trailed in. Asked my husband where' the vac' his reply was "I've hidden it, where's my stool". He has locked it in either the garage or the workshop and I haven't a key to either. Childish or what.
:-S is it me or him?

Tell me about it.....I take 2 old chaps out to listen to a band every week.I do a 50 mile trip.
One has to sit in the front going...and the other sits in the front coming back.

Childish or what!,

Wouldn't care but the one on the way back is blind,so he can't see where he's going anyway! :-D

Mustn't forget the effing and blinding row I had with Fred, because I had torn his wine-gum packet.

LadyScozz - I thought all you had to do to get hubby to toe the line was to hide his golf clubs :-D :-D :-D

I would tell him two can play your game . Until you return the vac then you don't get any washing done or any food prepared .

And I can always buy another vac !

lol

If I wanted to hide his golf clubs I'd have to go to the Golf Club and find someone to let me into the buggy shed.

Yes, he has a buggy. Makes me laugh...... they play golf for the "exercise"! Drive around in a cart all day then sit and drink beer afterwards.

:-D

The worst thing I could do to him would be to hide the remote for the TV.

Janet Report 9 Sep 2013 10:02

It would take me about three weeks to notice that the vac had disappeared as I can lose anything. I did notice the words ' my dining room' could there be a hint of the problem. I presume it belongs to him indoors as well. The question is, do you want things to improve or are you happy being miserable? So many couples exist in that state but to suggest taking the remote is a bit harsh.- jl

Why not say you're sorry you moved his stool, tell him where it is (if he doesn't already know) and ask for your vac to be given back?

And get another key cut for the garage and shed. One day, you might need to get in there when he isn't around to ask.

ChrisofWessex Report 9 Sep 2013 12:59

Personally - I would sit tight and ignore lack of vacuum.

Then comes the day when it appears - say you have forgotten how to work it ..................or if you cannot wait - go out and buy another - if he complains tell him it is his fault, (how you put up with that stool in your diningroom for more than a day or two beats me).

Then as others have suggested - get a copy of the keys asap.

You are in the right girl - he is being petty.

How times have changed, If I had hidden the hoover my OH would take that to mean she had been given the day off from all household duties and disappeared off on a pampering and shopping day to which I would have received a large no expenses spared Bill
