The Mormons have a passenger list on CD.....costs pennies......there are also sea voyage logs.....It may be worth asking someone for a lookup....you never know they may be one of the many who get a mention in the logs.

Graham ~ that's one of the family.

Walter WALTERS b1796 & Sarah Reece LEIGH b 1806, married 1828.

One of their daughters......

Mary WALTERS b 10 Sep 1828 Llaneddy, M Mns, Vcrg, Wales
she married John Richard OWEN/OWENS (also from Wales) in Utah in 1856.

Two of their daughters, Margaret & Hannah Owen, married Robert Kerr who is a distant cousin of mine..... Margaret died in 1889, Robert & Hannah married in 1898.

Mary's brother William WALTERS b1835 married Mary Kerr, who is sister of Robert.

The Utah/Idaho etc branches of my tree are very tangled!

Most of this lot don't appear on my GR tree..... that's already a jungle.

I look at submissions to the family search site........ then look for confirmation. I've found some real doozies on there about my own rellies!

Looking at how many people have M Mns Vcrg next to their names, I think it unlikely that they were all ministers.
Mns could stand for mansions and Vcrg could be Vicarage Lane/Street; so the address would be something Mansions, Vicarage Lane, Llaneddy.
