Ann**, I do that . I often find food and pressies in Jan and Feb that I've bought, put away then forgotten.

This year I think I've doubled up on a handful of CHRISTMAS cards - I have an excuse though.

The other morning daughter rang for some addresses when I was on my way out. I was short of time so simply dropped in my card list and told her to take the addresses from there. When I got back there were cards delivered so I wrote just a few out that I could not remember sending. Then I discovered I had a card to deliver that I thought I had passed over to a colleague last week.

Today I made dtr photocopy the list and give me my original back. She's a bit like me folks, so it'll be anyone's guess who receives a card from her - and I can guarantee they'll be late going out. :-D

Never mind, some will get double wishes from us and some strangers could well get wishes from daughter :-S

Lovely lunch though - lasagne (though not your cup of tea GP).

Don't you find you're chasing your tail at times? :-D

Never mind, the time to worry is if and when you catch it. :-D :-S

I've just been hoodwinked into coming to an old folk’s home silent Christmas disco.

No idea what I've let myself in for & senior citizens always use an alien language especially when saying things like "Hang on - it's my round". And they are the only multi-lingual individuals I know of in this area.

Some of them who, like me, wear hearing aids, have been practicing their sign language skills using an old video recording of the fake sign language interpreter Thami Jantjie, last seen gesticulating gibberish on TV worldwide at the Nelson Mandela memorial service.
