Last one from this little booklet. Two picturesque bridges, each with an unusual design, across the river which flows through this university city, famous for one of it's college chapels and a dish of pears spiced with cloves and ginger which originated in the area and now bears it's name. Where are you now? Previous answers - yes PLYMOUTH - the Hoe to be precise - (my home town) and Cheltenham. Good thread - I shall really have to make my own up now.

I am walking up a famous street a large memorial in infront of me, on top of the lampost's are ship of a fleet. Where am I and who's fleet!

Mais oui! I'm on the Champs (where its said if you sit long enough you will see someone you know - course it will cost you an arm and a leg in coffee etc whilst waiting and sitting in a sidewalk cafe for them to come along, but..........gallic shrug.....you're worth it!) Jacqui
