I am recording it but I did wonder if anybody had connected to her in their tree as it is supposed to be a true story. Anybody claiming her??? |

I thought it was god viewing. My husbands GGGGGrandfather went on a similar journey in 1803 to Sorrento which is just round the coast from where Mary Bryant went. After being there for a year and finding the land unworkable their governor David Collins asked if they could relocate to Van Diemens land and founded Hobart. In 1813 he was pardoned and given land which he worked until he died in 1833 aged 70. Linda |
