Oh what a wet and windy day, outside the cat didn't want to stay Purring and peaceful he is asleep with paws tucked round and dreaming deep!

DorothyG Report 11 Jan 2006 12:32

Q uite mild here, so happy it makes me Hate the cold and damp so it's good to see R eal blue sky - not a cloud in sight hope it keeps this up, so sunny and bright S unshine is a tonic - there is no doubt almost tempted to go out and about T o the garden to have a look at everything Is this the first sign of an early Spring?

Yesterday 's e mail of my hot match led me to read the entire batch Zigzagged to and fro hoping to find a match ( well you know) Anguished to find not a single name from anyone's tree was the same By now I was going round the bend for all my links are at a dead end

DorothyG Report 11 Jan 2006 17:34

Chrispy, I found much the same ploughed my way through every name Dammed if one was remotely connected So the Delete button I have selected

**chrispy** Report 11 Jan 2006 17:36

Ever hopeful to find a link but it seems a waste of time I think Forever hoping for a breakthrough probably the same as you

Unknown Report 11 Jan 2006 22:29

Rescued this thread from back of beyond Couldn't let it suffer, of it I am fond.. So popped in for a moment as lovely Poppy sleeps Her parents are having fun and no time will they keep This moment I've snatched to add my little rhyme I'll catch you all later, if I get the time

Unknown Report 12 Jan 2006 18:07

Well folks, it's cold here still hope I haven't caught a chill Xtra clothes I shall put on and then the fire will go back on You must remember that now I'm old I'm more susceptible to the cold Zipping out to get a Ruby in a mo that will warm me up, I know

DorothyG Report 12 Jan 2006 20:34

All I can say Dee is you're welcome to that curry Makes my stomach turn - and rush you know where,in a hurry! Bombay food is not for me, rather have Scones and tea Chicken and chips or Spaghetti Bollognese Keeps my tum happy, and me full for days!

Unknown Report 12 Jan 2006 20:39

Dorothy, I've had my lovely curry not planning to go anywhere in a hurry!! Every once in a while we have a take away it saves me thinking about what to cook that day

DorothyG Report 12 Jan 2006 20:51

F ine, Dee, glad you enjoyed it! just that for me it's not a hit! G ood that we're not all the same mind you I also don't much like Game H as too strong a flavour I find, too I must have simple tastes, unlike you!

Unknown Report 12 Jan 2006 20:53

I have most strange tastes, I must agree you would be surprised what I sometimes have for tea Just wish I could be a better cook perhaps I need to buy a book

**chrispy** Report 12 Jan 2006 22:33

Korma is my favourite curry,it is very mild. I could not eat anything stonger. My taste is not wild Lets be honest, I only cook for Other Half and son. Left to my own devices, no cooking would be done Mind you, tomorrow will be a pain. All electricity is going off again. NO cooking, no heat and no PC from after breakfast till after tea. Oh Why? you ask, why should that be? The electricity board is cutting down a tree! Probably I will be shivering round my gas barbecue but hope to be back later to hear from you!
