Thanks for finding this thread Chris.

Are there other members out there suffering or have a family member suffering from COPD
Since last Autumn my OH has been on several different steroids and antibiotics taken orally and in nebulizers, continually , none of which are helping very much.

Also has anyone heard of a lung fungus which has gone into the bloodstream.

Maybe this is a long shot but thanks anyway :-)

I take seretide 250 (magic for my asthma) but my voice is husky. Saw specialist and he says Seretide may well be the cause of it as everything else is OK.

just a question, for copd sufferers, apart from breathing problems, how else do you suffer?

I run out of steam quite rapidly, even tying shoelaces, putting on socks gets me out of breath,
I can walk as if there is nothing wrong, but cannot run more than a few yards, even walking quickly(or trying to) gets me breathless....

(Spiriva/ Cerutide 250) cerutide CAN give you thrush in the throat, so Drs advice is to have a good drink after taking puffs.....
