that is fantastic,thank you so much.xxFrederick Finney was married to my birth mother Nora Isabella Morrison,they had a son Brian1947(died)then she left them and had me 1950 in Warrington.Iwas given the name Louise Griffin-mothers name Nora Isabella Griffin?????nee Morrison,so not sure who my birth father was.

If theres no dads name on your birth cert then it wont be Frederick Finney.

Theres no marriage for her to a Griffin so she may have been living with a Mr Griffin but he hasnt legally agreed to have his name on your cert .

Are you able to check the electoral rolls for c 1950 at the local main Library for the address she was living at the time of your birth ?

No Dads name.The address she gave was a boarding house in Warrington.I think she covered her tracks,

Was going to suggest someone on her side may have some info but that rules out a sibling knowing anything

Sounds like it Louise and used a different surname maybe so she couldn't be traced by her ex .
