I take it this is her?;
Name: Nora I Morrison
Birth: Dec 1927 - Manchester South, Lancashire

and not this one?:
Name: Nora Isabella Morrison
Birth: 14 Apr 1929
Death: Jul 1993 - Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England

Mother's msn was Currie:

Births Dec 1927 (>99%)
Morrison Nora I Currie Manchester S. 8d 221

Were her parents Scottish? Both Morrison and Currie seem like Scottish surnames.

Chorlton is LANCS

Find her birth............

Look for the marriage of the parents........

CelticShiv

CelticShiv Report 20 May 2013 15:22

There is no definate marriage for her parents, unless you have a idea of where they married? (Nothing. Coming up in the lancashire area for a Morrison to a Currie.

You would need to order her birth cert to get her parents names, to the search for their marriage.

Argyllgran makes a good point. They are both very Scottish. Surnames.
