Looking at military records for WW1 - over 70% were destroyed in WW2 - there are couple of medal cards which may be relevant. They don't give age or place of birth.

She was also awarded prizes in 1930 & 1931.

Also a child Nancy Pugsley reported at the same orphanage (possibly Annie?)

The death in 1927 put up by Det earlier is most likely to be the correct one.

Shirley put a marriage up earlier for Edith's sister Annie- this was also correct. Annie (Nancy) lived in Derbyshire and sadly passed away earlier this year aged 92.

As Donald had marked this as Answered, does this mean he doesn't need anymore information?
