MrsBucketBouquet Report 11 Apr 2011 13:05

Roy and Joan are meeting up this week!
They are both thrillled to have found one another.
They have spoken on the phone.

Roy never knew he had any siblings.
Roy as we already know took Mr Sadlers name but was brought up in care homes and foster homes keeping the Sadler name.
He only found out about his Greenall name when he married!
He doesnt remember Jessie..

All through this i felt sorry for Jessie but giving up TWO children?
We're now wondering if there wasnt even more!
She kept Roy for at leaste 2 years then gave him away too!

..BUT alls well that ends well and i'm happy to have made this happen...with of course all your help :-)

When i think of this i get tingles up the back of my neck lol
It's a lovely ending.

Thankyou
Gerri x

congratulations Gerri. It must have been a bit of a worrying time at first but glad everything is OK. Long may it continue.
Of course they are beautiful - whose own great grandchildren aren't!! They must look so tiny.

Sylvia

Roy and Joan met up and it was lovely.
They went out for a meal and exchanged all the certs we had collected also brought him up to date with who was who.
They exchanged photos of both families and had a cuddle.
It went very well and they keep in touch weekly.
They are both really pleased to have found each other.

They are arranging a meeting for all the cousins ,partners and grandchildren to meet up in the not so distant future.
That should be fun :-)

I spoke to my friend today about buying Jessies death cert...she said no cos Joan and Roy are just happy to have one another.
My thoughts were that i'd like to know who the informant was. There might be another one! lol.......doubtful cos of her age...but ya never know lol.

I had my 1st cuddle with one of the twins yesterday....wonderful!

Twins came home aged just 3 weeks!
No feeding tubes now and taking breast milk.
They are almost the same size now just a few ounces to go.

The Hospital did a test on the umbilical cord to see how identical they are.
We were told you cant get any closer..99.9%
When one gets the hic ups...so does the other one! lol

Mia and Cara names together mean....My beloved.
...and they are...:-)

Next report will be when they go to school lol

Great Nan Gerri x
