Pat Kendrick Report 17 Apr 2005 09:20

Jess The problem is this was just a note in my grandfathers diary refering to 'an uncle who ran the pub'. So it could have been on his side or Grandmothers. Here are some names. Kendrick, Byng, Bassett, Phipps which are the main family ones although it could have been an uncle by marriage. Jess don't put yourself out by spending lots of time on this in the importance of family history it must rate very low. Thank you, Pat

anyone wanting? Patricia- Dont know if it is any relevance but seraching 1901 walsall there are no Byngs or Bassetts but a William Kendrick- head and a William Phipps-head with their families. Maybe this would tie to one side of the family of the other.maybe they all came from Walsall I dont know Jess

John William Peet would be my gt grandfather. Im guessing at year of birth. He must have died fairly young as his wife remarried twice more to a Coles and Arkinsaw, but I cant seem to find anything about her

Dont know when she remarried, I dont even know her first name! I know John Peets last child (Francis) was born in 1904, she was my grandmother. He only had one son called Herbert who seems to have disappeared at youngish age after joining the army I think. Sorry not being much help to you am I?
