Jess. Well done for finding Lucy. All I have for William Pointing is that he was 44 when he married in 1889 born Helperton Marsh Wilts and married Ellen. Sorry it's not more but I will keep looking.

just getting jan back where i can see her... If you are still searching, would you look me up William Pointing on the 1901. He was born in Helperton Marsh Wilts abt 1847 and has a wife Ellen. Can you see where he is and if any children are still with him. Also. FOUND I have a Lucy J Warren who was born 1870 in Stanton St.Bernard Wilts and there is a marriage in Dec qtr 1897 to either a George Slatter or William Head. Would you check the 1901 to see if she is there with either or those surnames and whether she has any children.

Thanks Jess, Samuel was the adopted son of an Edward and Louisa Hennessey, living in Romford, Essex. They were together along with their other son John in the 1881 census. By 1891, John had left home and married but I can find no sign of his family and particularly Samuel. I was hoping that Samuel might reappear in the 1901 census somewhere. Best wishes Ian

Hi Jess. No I don't think that's the one but thanks for trying. His wife was 15 yrs younger than him when they married. I received a marriage certificate today for a previous look-up that you did for a Charles Ogilvie and Celia Lawry and you were spot on as usual. Thanks

Hi Jess I am trying to get into Ancestry Plus, but the passwords seem to have changed, so could you please look a family up for me? I'm looking for 1901, family name SAINT. They would be based in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. In particular, I am looking for Robert Saint, who would have been about 15 (give or take 3 years). Any help would be must appreciated. Thanks, Jess. Ellie
