hi jacqueline i wonder if you can help am desperately trying to find a lady called daisy dicker she married a mr woodgate in hammersmith about 1944 she would be about 80 now but am not sure if he was an american gi or british kind regards

You can get a copy of the certificate from gro.gov.uk which will give his father's name

Hi Val,

It is probably best to get the birth certificate of Edward 1840 from gro.gov.uk as this will give both names of parents and perhaps make it easier to trace them. There is only the one Edward Moores up to 1841
