hello do you have any information on a 'Nicholas Fairlamb' born about 1680 (we think) he emigrated to america, when arriving in america he apparantly has a document from authoritys in Stockton (county Durham). really wanting to know where he was born, his parents ect,.

most Fairlambs originate from allendale and it seems the name Nicholas was a popular family first name. anyway would be really appreciative of this Nicholas's birth place and parentage

Hi Jacqueline

I wonder if you can help me locate a birth for my sister? All I know is that she was born on 31/7/70 (probably somewhere in London - may have been around the Chelsea/Fulham area), mother's name was Joan Theresa Donaghue (born on 8/2/48 in Ireland I believe) and Father's name was Brian Morris (possibly living in Tooting at the time). All I know is that she would probably have been registered with the surname of Donaghue as the above 2 individuals were not married. Don't know what Christian name she was given I'm afraid!

I hope you will be able to help me with the 1891 census for Bradford please.
John William Ingham married Elizabeth Freer in the Dec Qtr 1881 in Bradford and so far I have been unable to find them in later census. I have found Elizabeth being born in Sheffield :-

and I have found her with her family in Bradford in 1881 but know nothing about John William.

Hi. Do you have access to army births. I am looking for my grandmothers birth. Her name was Ann Jane Clements and she was born about 1876 in Kilkenny Ireland. Her father was George William Clements born in England and was a sergeant in the Army serving in Ireland at that time. I hope you can help. I just don't know where to look.
