Can’t see anything at first glance.
WW2 Records are are still held by the MOD. You could order a copy for £30.
Details & application forms on this link

Hi Everyone
This is a continuation of my Aunt Vera born Cooke 1919 Nottingham
As my Aunt will hopefully make 100 years this year
I am trying to piece together her life
I have her Birth Certifate 1919 Nottingham
And both her Marriage Certifate s both the Husbands names
Her Mother and Fathers Marriage
Dates of births but not Certifate S

I have her departure date from Southampton 1954 19 th February
Also her return date from New York 1955 April 17th Vera traveled as Vera Wilson

The reason for contacting you all once again is =====
Vera Wilson born 1919 went to Canada to join Peter Hebblethwaite as he was joining the Mounted Police
I was wondering if there is any information of the passing out of theCanadian Mounted Police re who he was ???

The story goes that Vera went to New York as he was marrying some one else ?..

But my cousin and I have found photos of the Mounted Police Passing out dinner with Vera on them I think he came from England
Also other photos of Vera and Peter don’t know anything about him
Have you any ideas
Vera will be 100 years old this year and lives in Care Home So we don’t know if she will remember
Hoping Thankyou
Olive Jean

Info here about RCMP personnel files:

If he didn't join before c1920, it doesn't look as if the information will be available to the public.

You said she was 'joining' the man - so he must have already been there!!

And bear in mind that if she was married and going to meet up with another man, she may not want to 'remember'
