Denise, you need to learn your way around the freebmd site https://www.freebmd.org.uk As it's name suggests it's free to use and by inputting surname and mmn you should be able to find births to the couples in the right areas. Be aware there are sometimes couples with the same combination of surnames so not all births are the same family. the site is also used for marriages and deaths - all go from Q3 1837 up to around 1980. And mmn only available from 1912 onwards (death ages from mid 1860's) Pre 1912 you can find mmn quoted on another free site - again from 1837 https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp which lists both those and age at death pre the mid 1860's
