Frank Chris was at Weedon all afternoon. That is why he was so late tonight. Is Weedon your neck of the woods? We never eat early as he is never in until at least 6.30.Then he doesn't want to eat straightaway.Have just put the dishes in the washer, and you are right I will be in bed before long.

Morning Mel,
Morning Sheila.

Wet ,windy but mild again

off to town to have coffee with friends at 11. so need to do a bit of work around the house before I go.

daughter no 2 boyfriend started a new job on Monday. He is doing research for a local comunity Links programe , they publish and provide a monthly magazine , that is sent out into the surrounding areas of Hamilton He is also working on the computers graphics side and going into the comunity to research , take photo's etc
His first project is on researching and creating leaflets on encourageing mums to Breastfeed ( that was a bit of a surprise to us ) finding out which was the most popular way of feeding through the generations of mums , grans etc over last 50 years, and why in today's society that so many woman prefer to bottle feed instead of breastfeeding, he will come incontact with many people, Drs, nurses, health visitors, and new mums and there families,
Interesting job, it's only for 6 months but at least he will be doing something useful. and earning some money, he loves working with computers and the photography side of it.

off to do some work
have a good day.

Morning All, (JUST).

Been busy looking after his lordship. Bacon sandwhich, Weetabi#, milky coffee. Have vacumed all through. Ros can hardly walk today, her back and leg are terrible she's living on pain killers. Rang doctor. Got to ring 8.am Friday. nothing till then. I would have gone up and waited till they had finished surgery, then they would have had to see me, but she's not like that.

Jane Weedon is about 10 miles from us, down the A43 then up the A5

Your poor wife Frank, I am sorry. Has she get sciatica? if so, that is really wicked. I had it some years ago and it reduced me to tears the pain was so bad. In the end I had Acupuncture and that did the trick. It doesn't always work with everyone though, but might be worth a try. Tomorrow we go to Wantage, to see the family! daughter, Son,S-in Law and three Grandchildren, Polly aged 10 Alice aged 7 and Edward aged 3. The girls are absolute dears, Edward is a dear BUT lively! need I say more!!! full of charm too which doesn't help on the disipline front!!! I can't wait to see them, 3 months is FAR too long!

MillymollyAmanda

MillymollyAmanda Report 27 Oct 2010 13:22

Oh poor Ros, you look after her Frank , surely they must have some emergency appointments for each day i know ours does, if you ring first thing .

Oh Elizabeth ,i bet you carn't wait to see the little ones ,and i bet you'll spoil them !!!
My grandaughter Chelsea is three she a little humbug knows just how to get her own way lol she just has to give you one of her beaming smiles with her head on one side and i give in !!!

Lovely and sunny ,washing all dry .

Lovely here too now...still got this vertigo, but am going to brave it with a walk with dog. Just hope she does nt see a rabbit!

Seen lots of red kites about this morning, also a common buzzard.Sometimes the crows attack the kites, fasinating to watch.. I went to a birds of prey centre couple of weeks ago...it was so quiet there, they let me fly a couple of kestrels, harris hawk and a milky owl(african). Anyway, i m hooked.. i want to learn falconery, so am looking for suitable course and eventually have my own bird..a harris hawk i hope. Has anyone done any falconary??

On with the wellies now...dont think i ll walk too near the lake!!!!

LilyL

LilyL Report 27 Oct 2010 14:06

Heavens no Jill I've never done Falconary, but I think it would be a brilliant thing to do. We've got a Falconary place quite close to us here on Exmoor, and is a really interesting place to visit. Horrible blow fly buzzing round, must be the sun bringing them out!
