hello hung around to see if anyone replied this is Jessica my mumsie had a heart attack while at her charity shop she was dragging big bags of cement across the floor to move it out of the way they had part of the floor that was under repair. During the evening she felt a pain in her chest and by late evening was looking very ill so my big sister took her to the casualty department of the local hospital she was now in a lot of pain and
the doctor said he wanted to keep her over night. During the night she had very bad chest pains and they were most concerned .
Mums on medication and must rest she is out of intensive care .
Thank you Jane for answering was a bit nervous of coming on here had trouble figuring out what you did to start.

I will pass on your best wishes

I think mum will have plenty time to chat when she is out doing nothing drives her up the creek. I think the events leading up to christmas made her unwell. I should have said events not advents how do you cope with this I shot off again have a nice evening loved chatting. They may tell me to go soon.

Sorry to hear your news Jessica and hope your mother makes a good recovery. You have all had a lot to cope with these past months.......take care of yourself and make sure she does too.

Liz, how awful for Ian and a tad embarrassing too! I would have thought the Community Nursing Team or incontinence nurse would have had to assess his needs after discharge from hospital. It sounds like someone else is deciding this! Is he supposed to not drink anything then!! I would ask them what his allocation is and who is the person responsible for deciding it!! See what they say. If they are just trying to keep costs down (which is good) a discreet reminder to be mindful of this on the packaging would be quite adequate.

Well the new bathroom fan is a RR compared to the old one. I expected it to be noisier as it is twice as powerful, but it is so quiet you can hardly hear it so now I hope it clears the steam better. It was good for OH to see what it is like having workmen in, he missed it all being at work before. I put old sheets down on all routes to the front and back door and in the bathroom and could tell he thought it wasn't really necessary..........well not till he saw all the dirt and grit on them after that is!! lol The electrician is very good, semi retired and chatty, so much so that when OH eventually got away, he went under the back fence in the field to cut the brambles down......out of reach!! lol After it was finished he couldn't believe all the mess in the bath, on the surfaces, in the porch.....it used to be all cleaned up by the time he got home........new respect for what us ladies do I think!!!
