Gin,

Getting back to your comment about Team GB doing well in sports that involved sitting down.

Do you think that there is any possibility that the IOC would look favourably on a lobby to have Musical Chairs approved as an Olympic sport? ;-)

Gee

Gee Report 5 Aug 2012 09:50

We could give it a go...........and while we are asking, what about hopscotch?

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 5 Aug 2012 09:54

I always thought that Hopscotch involved hopping about on one leg rather than on ones bum. :-S

Gee

Gee Report 5 Aug 2012 10:00

Tiddleywinks! Now, there's a game I'm good at!! ;-)

Am fed up of the constant griping about the new look site by people who haven't really used the boards before. Posted something to that effect on one of the many threads and have been told to 'get over it' by a newbie...... :-S

We've had a bit of thunder Dea - would like lots more. Lurve storms.... :-D

I used to love hopscotch!!! ;-) Tiddlewinks - mmm - was never good at it - but quite liked it. Now Marbles - played at junior school when we used to play on drain-covers and any other hole you could find in the playground - I loved it. Wouldnt throw away my marbles collection [obtained through winning] for years and years. Those were the days.....

I hankered after Mousetrap and Buckaroo - but when I eventually got them I realised what rubbish they were!!!

I love thunderstorms!!! :-D
