I'll put the kettle on....

Last day at college and a little break all on my own, although I have a student who has a little crush and wants to come and cook me a meal at the weekend....oh dear, not sure JB would be very happy if he did!

JB is off to Wales tomorrow morning to go and look after mom as she should be out today after her knee op

After college, go and pick up my new hob from JBs work (where it was delivered) and try and get hold of the spark to fit it

Then, order curry ready for the Friday Gang who always have 'Thursday Gang' at Easter........it's the law

Then chill out with food and wine :-D

Tomorrow, take JB to the train station......go home and put my PJs on ;-)

Thanks for putting the kettle on Gins.......quick coffee and off to an autism event. Actually taking daughter with me today - she's never been interested in anything I do on her behalf so, this is a first!!

The curry orders have been flying back on forth on the smart phones, I now have my list to phone in later!

The usual 'badly joined up' waste of a day :-(

I arrived, supposedly to see the Consultant but was told that he didn't need to see me (meaning that he had a double clinic because he had Friday's patients to see as well as Thursdays as Friday is a Bank Holiday so he didn't really have enough time :-( )

Anyway, that was O.K. - I aparently just needed to collect my tablets and then I could go home :-)

Nearly 2 hours later I was still waiting so started to chase things up - another half hour or so and the Pharmacist arrived with them - 15 minutes of instructions and then I could leave.

VERY tiring and frustrating.

Anyway - home now and I start them and everything else on Tuesday :-D

How is sis doing with hers?

Glad you got sorted in the end. Try and have a relaxing long weekend and recharge your batteries

Sis is doing OK, she hasnt had any side effects (as yet....fingers crossed) from the chemo. She is at home today but will be going back tonight

I will Sylvia - It's just so frustrating as I was there yesterday AND the day before - If these people would get their act together I could have picked them up yesterday while I was there !!

BUT, hey ho!! - I cannot re-organise the National Health System single handed ! (Well, actually, I could, quite easily in terms or general organisation !)

Someone needs to do it though ;-) :-D :-D

Nice to see that your day is quite warm - I am sure we will get to that stage soon (I hope)

Sorry about the breakfast ..............


Daughter and family arrived last night about 10 pm ...... plane was just over 30 minutes early.

Tiddly had slept for about an hour after the plane left Montreal, but was then awake for the remaining 4+ hours!

So they were all shattered.


They left here almost 90 minutes ago to drive down to the ferry terminal, and over to the Island to see our friends (J's godfather).

We are now without any transport until Monday .......... so we will be sticking pretty close to home.
