I saw Janey on a thread yesterday or the day before,must remember to keep taking them memory pills(doing lookups for her I was),but shes got the hump about everyone talking about Corrie and said she wasnt coming back here till they had finished..

Forgot to say....on Friday evening a 25 year old man was on a works Christmas do at Bistro Pierre down the road from us

He went to the loo and they found him dead on Saturday, AFTER they had opened!

So much for the staff checking before they left and where was the cleaner!

Anyway, bargain of the week....huge set lights for a fiver! Dont know where to put them though

Roz at work today said she has table gifts for her Christmas guests

A small present to open at dinner.....what a good idea

I had a brilliant bargain a couple of years ago.

I was in a certain store and wanted a particular size of Christmas tree - they had a beautiful one on display but none on the shelves.

I asked if they had any and was told that they had sold them all but would do a 'deal' on the display one'

I ended up with the tree I wanted, complete with all the beautiful decorations and the lights for less than the price of the tree itself.

Couldn't ask for more!
