Yes, of course I have seen dreads before and yes, I thought he was an entertaining character. I just find them unattractive. I also find blue rinses unattractive.


Anyway, enough light hearted banter......Gins dear, are you doing breakfast this morning or leaving it to this poor old soul who could run rings round you???


Meanwhile, I shall switch the kettle on..........

No 1 son has had a prov offer from the Univeristy of Bradford.....which we are pleased about. Civil & Structual Engineering

Waiting to hear from the University of Sheffield, which would be easier for him, but at least he has a place

Cyns if I do breafast there will be no meat?

Well, I have done a whole pile of crispy bacon and sausages - all in the warmer..............

Ginns - I have run out of eggs - can you do those, and some mushrooms and tomatoes please ??

I will 'dunk' some bread in the bacon fat and do some fried bread to go with it. - will be ready soon..................

Well done to No. 1 Gins - must be a relief for you.


Had a very nice Christmas lunch with friends so am now relaxing and keeping an eye out for the dreaded snow!


Thank you for the crispy bacon Dea.....wonder why it always seems tastier than plain bacon??

Snow,snow and more snow..8 inches deep so far here and more to come...Dont think we will make it to that Christmas party tomorrow evening somehow..

Sob...Was really looking forward to seeing friends we havent seen for ages...

Plus the free scoff and drink of course..;)

You have it coming...Sparkys Lady friend is in Wigan at the moment to pick up one of her boys to come here for Christmas..Her journey home is now delayed,so I pointed her toward a cheap and unfriendly B+B in case she get fed up with sons cooking,and fancies some worse cooking..;)

We have no more snow today but the roads and paths are sheet ice....yes Fanny, I said SHEET ice

Stocked up on milk, tea, bread and beer to should be OK ;)

Janey hasn't shown her face lately either.........I think they've had heavy snow in her region......not as much as Gins has had though!

Ooh hello. Saw me name so shamed into popping in. Sorry for neglecting you all. Yes, running round like blue @rsed fly trying to fit Christmas mayhem in with full time work.

All sorted now, presents bought and wrapped. Food bought and fresh stuff ordered for Mr C to collect during week.

So, I can bother you all now!

Ive got an office full, a boot full and a wardrobe full of gifts....and they all need to be wrapped!

I hate wrapping and I have to do all of them except mine of course
