I've been trying to get a bit on Moses Hyman a Pawnbroker born Poland 1857 he's in the 1911 census married to Annie 33 years so they married 1878c Harry was born 1876 ?? newcastle upon Tyne

I've found a Marriage for Moses Hyman to Annie Schlesenger Newcastle upon Tyne but underneath it has Hannah Schlesenger do you think this is the same person ??

if you look at the image of the index

her name was recorded as both Annie and Hannah ( the registration details are the same for the two entries ) which would be because one was her 'real' name and the other was the one she used

that birth looks reasonable :-)

Yes - NuT just list Hannah.
My guess is the bride is entered as Hannah, but she signed it as Annie.
They are essentially the same name anyway

I found births for Merial 1859, Debra 1862, Abraham 1864 and Ann 1860 all born in Sunderland Possibly siblings??

But I can't find them in any of the censuses ?? thought by finding them I'd get their parents

On the Maurice Sylvester I've found out his father was Samuel Sylvester but nothing more at the moment

I'm sorry I'm back I've been all afternoon trailing threw ancestry 1911 censuses thinking I'll print them off as their written by our ancestors the only one I've managed to find is Max Silverman.

they have the summary books but you can get the census record also but it is so complicated and you have to go through so many pages which is ok if you find the one you want but spending hours and not getting anywhere I'll not be beaten !!!
