thankyou so much for all the info i can confirm that my mums mum married daniel w jude her name is eva jarvis hey married in 1934 ish
after he died in 1944 a man knocked at my nans door and asked who she was as daniel was his father.

it seems he was married to i think the ellen hooper what im trying to find is what children they had as in theory they would be my mums half siblings,

he was born in hackney and his dad william jude was born in cambs
sorry for confusion

i found that the neices named mead were living with daniel when he was a child and couldnt work out who or where they came from but i think you have answered that one with the article.

thinking about it that means that mary green married my mums grandad bigomasly had the children of mead living with them and the son (daniel my mums dad)
then daniel (the son) did the same thing with my nan all those years later

Lisa if you go to FreeBMD http://www.freebmd.org.uk you can search for births using the surname and the mother's maiden name (mmn).

There are two in the Edmonton district for Jude, mmn Jarvis. Won't post them on here as the people may still be living - guess one of them is your mum.

Lisa, have you any idea what the R was for Eva's middle name? Just that there's a few London Electoral Rolls with Daniel William Jude living with a Rose but it's before he married Eva in 1938. Could that be her middle name and they lived together before they were married, or perhaps he had another ladyfriend in between?

i would like to know how many children jude/hooper had i know they had one but as for names no clue

daniel william jude was living with rose who was my nans mum

he then left her and married my nan eva rose jarvis in 1938

She's living with William Daniel Jude (that must be the son) at 29 Theydon Road, Southwold ward.

There are regular later entries for Ellen alone.

Lisa - you should get a book written about this family, better storylines than most dramas on tv!

Looks like Mary Perry, George Green James Mead and Daniel Jude grew up very near each other in Cambs.
