This looks to be a branch of a Goodwin Family that I am researching in Suffolk (Woodbridge and Ipswich). Charles Archibald son of Frederick (butcher) son of Benjamin Goodwin, clock case maker at Clerkenwell and Islington. Benjamin's father was George Rust Goodwin. More details of the family business set up in Ipswich (Titchmarsh and Goodwin) and a newspaper article in 1847 of an inquest into George Rust Goodwin's death are on the internet.
