The info I have is from a friend her mother was called Florence Houlden born Lincs 1910, she told me that a friend had found out a bit of information out from the census that she was living with Elizabeth who was a wet nurse to her. So this would be on the 1911 census, Elizabeth was born 1880 in lincs.She is trying to find her grandparents.

I confused myself there ! Spalding, Spilsby ... but it's the Horncastle one we want :-)

and the only way you are likely to get info about the parents is to obtain that birth certificate

you could also check whether she named her father on her marriage certificate

as I said, you need the birth certificate to get the real mother's name, but it very likely does not identify a father

it seems the Houldens reared her as their own child

I am not up on sending files through this system if that is what you meant, to have an image, maybe someone else would do that for you?

Many people confuse nurse child with wet nurse. Not so. Nurse child is just a foster child.

So maybe she was born out of wedlock and these people adopted her, if so where would she go to find out if this happened ie adoption papers.her birth certificate would def show the mothers name but not the father is that correct.
