I am trying to trace any family of Lucy Ann Wright Born 1896 in Calverton Nottinghamshire Lucy Ann was the 4th child of John & Mary Ann Wright John & Mary Ann had we believe 7 children Jane Eliza 1890 John Thomas 1892 Harry 1894
Lucy Ann 1896 Alice E 1898 Jack 1901 & Richard Henry 1906 we have found a death certificate for a John Thomas but if we have the correct death certificate it means John Thomas he died in Flanders at the age of just 15 years, unfortunately we cannot seem to trace any marriage or death certificates for the rest of the Wright family, Lucy Ann Wright was the late Grandmother of my husband she died in 1971..

Remembering John Thomas

John Thomas Wright was born 1891 one of nine children of bricklayer's labourer, John Wright and Mary Ann who was a seamer of hosiery. In 1901 and 1911 the family lived in Mansfield Lane, Calverton.

John married Lucy Taylor in 1913. In 1920 widow, Lucy, remarried to Thomas Barks and moved to Cauldwells Yard, Sherwood St., Warsop, Mansfield.

John enlisted in Mansfield12th Bn. Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby).
