Hello Anne, Please can you help me with my Ferguson family? I have a James Ferguson born in Nairn in 1842. He married and Ann McDonald in 1863 in Forres. Ann was born circa 1842 possibly Nairn/Banff way. They had a daughter Margaret Grace McLeod Ferguson born 1868 in Auchterhouse, Angus. Could you have a wee look on your census or BIVRI to see if there were any siblings? Many thanks Donna

Barbara Report 8 Jul 2006 22:02

Hi Anne, Thankyou for the kind offer, Could you help me by trying to find a Sarah Campbell. She had my G grandfather Nichol Nicholson Campbell on 12/6/1881, to late for the 1881 census. On his birth certificate it gives the Address as 2 Adamswell Street, Glasgow, Lanark. I have looked up on the 1881 that address and found a William aged 35 born Glasgow Mary Campbell 32 born Dunbarton Scotland Wife. With their children but no Sarah. I was thinking that this could be her brother. Looking at William & Marys marriage I got their parents. William had a sister Sarah b 1865 Glasgow. If you could have a look for her I would be very grateful I have had no success. Thank you Barbara
