Find Ancestors

Hi Dawn, Would you be kind enough to help me find information on the parents of: Robert Ritchie born in Kennoway-Fife 1831 I think his name might be William Ritchie born 1806 in Kennoway. Married Jean Brunton 1829 in Kennoway. Did they have any other children? I also think William Ritchie's father might also be William who married Mary Wilson in 1805 in Monimail. I have no dob's for Jean, William, William or Mary & no other info. Am I on the right track here? Robert's wife ( Catherine McKenzie) born 1838 in Perth( they were married 3/12/1857, in Markinch-Fife) I think her father may have been called Alex or Alexander McKenzie and her mother may be Christina Angus. I think they lived in Port Moak ( wherever that is) Is this correct, if so, did they have any other children etc? Would you have a marriage of an Isobella McKerrow and somebody HILLHERD or HILLHEAD. Think it was about 1924 but uncertain of the date or place. Most probably Scotland. Dont know HILLHERD first name either. His last name was difficult to read and not sure if it is HILLHERD or HILLHEAD. Thanks Gloria

IZ FROM WARKS Hi Iz The only Ranald that I could find in Inverness and with a father called Allan was this one, not sure if he's yours. KAY GIRVAN Hi Kay Sorry my records only go up to 1854, thought some areas go a little later. I checked but nothing that late I'm afraid. I also checked my BVRI records but couldn't find anything on those either. If you can manage to get a little further back, maybe using census then I could have another look for you. Dawn :-)

CAZZIE Hi Carol I couldn't find much info I'm afraid. On my records their marriage came up as 23 Dec 1855 Edinburgh Parish. I tried to find a birth/christening for John around 1831 but nothing jumped out. Then I tried to look for his parents and this was the only marriage in the Midlothian area !?! JOHN MCINTOSH married MARY ROW 15 Apr 1808 Canongate, Edinburgh Then I tried to find a birth/christening for Elizabeth but nothing cam up for her. I did find this marriage which looks very possible for her parents, plus an older sister.
