Hello Mary, Thankyou so much for the info. All the Hall families in Great Rollright appear to be related so they would be mine!!! i would love the details if it isnt to much trouble. I have gone back to James and Betty Hall she was born approx 1746 (IGI) Great Rollright they had 8 kids but Thomas was the only one i could find any detail on, if there is more on the 1841 census i would love to hear of them. Thanks again for your help Regards Theresa

Hi Jackie This looks as if it might be a real mystery. I got no hits for Mary Jane Parker using the details you supplied. Looked at Elton on Ancestry, and it only has a couple of cottages on the census, neither of which have her as a resident. I suggest you try for a lookup on a 1891 Durham census. Where did you get the Elton address? Sorry Regards Mary

Hi Christine Yes I did see clutching at straws and I tried searching for them in Rotherhithe but still nothing. I had this problem with my family on the 1891 census I just cannot find any of my Whetton families on the search.I eventually found them by going directly to the census images for the area I had a good idea where they should be living and searched page by b----y page until I found them on the Isle of Wight!!(not on holiday)but working on Queen Vic's estate. They must be there somewhere its just a matter of finding them. Good luck Regards Mary

Trying to find the birth, marraige and death of James Noe. He was born around 1835 and lived in Hackney, Poplar and Bethnal Green area's. in 1901 he was a patient at a hospital (St Marylebone). He had at least 4 children, Elizabeth (born around 1868, James (born aprox 1865), Henry (born aprox 1867), and Arthur (born aprox 1869). I don't know the mother of his children, so the marraige cert would be good, and also, the birth and deaths dates/certs of James Noe would be good to obtain. Can you please help? Thanks
