Hi Maggi I have found Eliza Senior living with George on the 1871 census and George & family on the 1881. If you send me your email addy I will pass on the images. I will need to do some searching on earlier Oxfordshire censuses as I am not sure whether Caversham will be on them(The border towns hop in and out of Oxon,Berks and Bucks. Hi Denise I have found a birth for Leonard Howlett Dec Qtr 1898 Thame 3a 828. I looked for him on the 1901 census but could not find him in Thame. However I found Zillah age 8 as a Boarder in what appears to be a small private school in Atherington,Devon. I also found a Leonard Howlett of the right age living in Tring,Herts could this be the one but says born in Tring. I think you will need to send for his birth cert to confirm parents. There are a lot of Howletts in Thame on the 1901 so you really need that birth cert. All kind regards I just knew I would hear from you again. Mary

He was born 1865ish in Wigan according to the 1881, His 2 girls were both born Oldham according to the 1901 Almost certainly he'll be in Lancashire somewhere

George, Sorry but I cannot find anything for the France family on 1891. I have searched for each of them individually but nothing that fits. Must be that spaceship again or that Miss Transcription. Regards Mary

Hi Fiona Sorry the lists on Ancestry are very early before your folks were born. If you google passenger lists there are a lot of sites you can search for free. Good luck Mary
