Hi Denise(again) Great that you have got more info from a living source. here is some more for you to ponder: 1871 census Living at New Land Street,Chipping Wycombe,Bucks Thomas Howlett 38 Head Farm Labourer b Chinnor,Oxon Mary Ann Howlett 32 Wife b Little Marlow,Bucks John Howlett Son 8 Scholar b Chipping Wycombe James Howlett Son 5 Scholar b Chipping Wycombe George Howlett Son 3 b Chipping Wycombe 1841 census Living in Chinnor Street,Chinnor,Oxon Robert Howlett 50 Ag Lab Mary Howlett 40 Sarah Howlett 15 Martha Howlett 12 Thomas Howlett 8 Mary Howlett 7 All born Oxfordshire For some reason Chinnor disappears from Oxfordshire on the 1851 and 1861 censuses,I think it is included as part of Bucks. Try Susie Manterfield for the Bucks 1851 census, she has a thread on genes and is always happy to help(she has done a lookup for me with my Bucks ancestors). Sorry I cannot help further. Good luck and all best wishes Mary
