	yes caz i would make a awful farmers wife id kick and scream till i got my own way and we would be bankrupt and all our animals would live a rip old age lol xx

	Oh Oh, We raised and ate our own lambs, goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, pigs, geese etc., Yes, some were even given names by the kids but they knew where they would end up...on their plates! Sue

	my dad was a hunter/poacher we ate allsorts of things as a child but it was always dead when i seen it

Member Since: March 2008 Posts: 622 Send Message	We have cows on our property that we raise for eating. We also have ducks and chooks which we have eaten. The kids have been involved in every aspect of the process and have not had a problem. The meat of the cows was good, but the chooks and ducks were dry, shop bought were better. As for Gordon Ramsey, you dont have to watch him you can always switch off. What you see is how some restaurant kitchens run, its called reality.
