General Chat

Just been seeing a few comment on these threads, about older members not being around so much, so just wondered, how long have you all been members and which boards or threads do you tend to use ? :O)

....Me since this April...
I tend to swap between general/chat..whatever grabs my attention at time!..quite whimsical like that!..

I've been here for a few weeks mainly go on General/Chat

Have been around for a fair bit but only ventured onto the boards a couple of years ago, until then I was busy with the family tree...which reminds me must get back to it at some point

One year next month and I tend to use both Chat and General.

I also visit Tips and Records daily.

I have actually ben a member for a few years, but only plucked up the courage to post last July.................I am really pleased I did.

So a lot of us have been around for quite a while then ;O)
Been a member myself for about 5 years, like quite a few of you guys only started posting this year, just used to stand on the sidelines looking in, must be like you Roverwild, duck out when the mud pies start to fly ;O)

So it took quite a while for some of us to dip out toes in the Water then :O)

Best way Sheila, but the names change so quickly whenever you come back from a break lol

Good job, I don't move from my computer nowadays then ? addictive isn't it ? like you Colin I will have to get back to doing my family tree, it looks like a twig at the moment ;O)

Been a member since February this year but only more recently been adding comments, etc., on Chat & General.

For my family tree I have put requests for info on the other relevant boards and have to say these have been very worthwhile. A couple of times hit a brick wall but thanks to some kind people on the boards, managed to "knock it down" and continue.

Went on Trying to Find etc for my research & still check-people have been very kind & helpful.
Only started going on Chat & Gen April'ish'-made some good friends & its fun. :)

So have most of us on here actually started with the idea of tracing our family tree, and got way laid along the way ? :O)

I was way laid very early on Sheila and have lived comfortably on chat ever since

~~difinately way laid!...

So I am guessing there are a few people on here with a sum total of one person on their tree ;O)

What happened prince ? did you mean to go onto the tips board and pressed chat instead ? ;O)
