Hi Daff,
Sorry to hear that you have to go in hospital again.

At least you know that you will be well looked after.
Hope you'll soon be better! Take care.

All the best.

Sallie

Poor you, what a price to pay for the pleasure of your visit of your son and granddaughter, bless them. I do hope you get let out again very soon Daff and can continue with your plans for the garden etc. Maybe you have been doing a wee bit too much so it left you more susceptible to bugs.
Hope R. will feel ok with no one to soothe his fevered brow, and he will feel well enough to keep up with anything you started.
love and hugs

Afternoon all, lol!! They let me out lunchtime today... good thing too, I was starving!!

I have a throat infection... the coughing is purely upper respiratory tract, my chest is clear..... and here comes the biggie, lol.... my bloods have doubled... I am still slight anaemic, but that is getting better on it's own... but the neutrophils have gone up to 2.7.... which is comfortably within normal range. So I have had a few doses of IV antibiotic, and they have sent me home to recuperate with tablets... this is the start of being *normal* again, lol So, my immune system is now able to look after itself as long as it isn't bombarded, so I still need to be sensible...... but can begin to eat and live *normally* Yes!! Stak and chips as soon as this cold has gone, lol.

Am off to bed now.... had about an hour's sleep last night!!

Take care,

Loads of love

Daff, so glad. I can breathe easily again.

Maz, I know what it is like. We had both our dog and cat put down about 3 yrs ago as they were obviously not enjoying life any more. Dog went very easily but cat seemed to be struggling. A sight I will never forget. We brought them home. OH had dug a deep hole in the garden. He put the dog in first then the cat on top and the dogs front legs seemed to come up and around her. They were great mates in life. We have another cat now, somebody was looking for a home for a 13 yr old cat as they were going to live in France. I felt at our age we might outlive her. Would love to have another dog but with OH's Alzheimers I feel we have enough on our plate. The cat is the friendliest one we have had and OH thinks the world of her.
Huia.
