Mornin Ethics people.

I holidayed once to Ethics
To find me family.
And gathered lots of info
To put in me family tree.

They didnt come from Thuthics
They didnt come from Kint
And none were born in Lundon
Cos most of e'm were skint.

I walked the walk in Ethics
And searched the graveyards too
I visited the cherches
And knelt down in the pew.

I noticed in the registers
That i had qute a few
And all baptised in Ethics
Back to 1562

Try again. My last disappeared,
I have never been to Ethics, but have been to Kint. Those loverly ferry terminals at Dover and Sheerness. The latter was at night so didn't actually see anything.
One ancestor came from Lond'n. He was the son of a plaisterer but left home and got into strife with his landlord, so off to the colony with him.
Another did come from Ethics. His name was John Smith, he married a Mary:- 13 children. Their son William married a Mary. They named their daughter Cynthia- not. She was named Mary. Three generations of Mary Smith.
Makes life interesting.

Persephone

Persephone Report 5 Jun 2010 14:38

More than likely lots of sugar Barbara...... It would be nice if they put wine in them. Now Merlot Jelly does have Merlot in it and it is so scrummy on my toast ---- only I don't have any... my daughter gave me some and I gobbled it up and now it is all gone. Now that's not ethical at all at all. You'd think she'd keep me supplied ad infinitum.

I am keeping Diane's and CC's hours being on here at 1.30am - kiwi time - been finishing some research for someone and didn't have time during the day.

Cheers all you

effical people.

Barbra, I'm sorry to hear about your brother's OH.

If I'm feeling down i look at the family photos my nephew sends every week of his son who is now one.

That makes me feel better, and realise why we don't keep in touch as often as we should !!

Allan didnt see your reply last night on here
I hope England do well but !!
there is to much money in football today
they have agents to me its a business not for the love of the game
I cant get my head round the fact the clubs are in so much debt .yet they do deals for millions of pounds .
our new Pm says there are hard times ahead for us all
wonder iff he will do anything about football clubs
iff they called in there debts
we would be a country without football
I know there is revenue from other outlets through the game they would suffer ;; but to be on more wages. than nhs workers & many more key workers .it obscene. no wonder our country is in a heck of a mess
lets hope people. give this gov a chance to get things on track.;
right me done now; see if other folks have opinions on this?

Bye for now Barbra x
