Hi Barbra, Sydneybloke,Allan, Berona, Perse...and all..

I will watch the Socceroos play Germany, although this particular code of Football i dont normally watch, as a rule.

But.....purely for patriotic reasons i might watch a bit of it though...lol

I did watch England v's U.S.A....but only because i needed to log on to the offer made by FMP to access their records for free for 3 hrs everytime England plays.....:>))

Looking forward to when England plays again....so i can search FMP.....hee hee

I would also like to thank her Majesty the Queen, for giving me a public holiday on my birthday to-morrow 14th June.
And if my beloved Collingwood football club can win to-morrow, that will be the icing on my cake....:>))

Tony ....*who will be 16 *....:>))

Happy birthday Tony

Severe thunderstorms in the SW early this morning and they have only just cleared.

Although not a soccer fan I do commiserate with the Aussies for their loss.

Hello to Barbra (who has probably gone to bed) and to anyone else who may be looking in

Good morning Allan.

Beautiful sunny day in Melbourne

Thanks for the birthday wishes peeps.

Yes,feel sorry for those who follow/support the soccer footy code in Oz....Bit of a thrashing.....to say the least..lol

Like you Allan, i'm not a soccer fan, and dont understand the rules.

Have a great day/night everyone.

Tony...:>))

Berona

Berona Report 14 Jun 2010 02:17

I'm too old for football now, but I do like to watch Grand Finals of any code. Soccer is the one I understand, and I very much support the Australian team, but I don't expect them to get far in the World Cup. Still, it would be nice to see them win one game - so I'm hoping for that to happen.

Hey Barbra, we could be distantly related!

My great grandmother came from Cork, Annie Coe.

It was her daughter that married my paternal grandfather

Scandalous marriage: he was 44 she was 22 :0))
