****MO***Rocking***Granny**** Report 2 Feb 2010 10:57

SueMaid it was quick
I was shocked when physio said I could go home. The woman opposite me got the all clear too,but the doc said no.Her wound was bleeding too much
The other lady that had it done wont be home yet,she was dragging her leg and afraid to put any weight on it.She could hardley walk with a frame,no way could she use crutches.Think they may have a job getting her to walk again.
But as Ive used crutches before I found them much easier to use than a frame.I took mine in with me and was up and about

Mo!!!!!!! Good to see you back, and well done for coming along so well they let you out in good time.

I know knee ops are more painful than hips, but that will soon go, as will the swelling once you are able to use it more. The swelling is the worst part, so make sure you use plenty of moisturiser or the skin will dry and crack, and keep it up when you're sitting.

You'll bounce back in no time, I can feel it...then that train driver better watch out! lol
