It'll settle and you'll get more sleep as time goes on Mo.

When I had my hip done, I didn't get much sleep in hospital, it was too noisy with alarms going off all night and so on. When I got home I slept in short bursts, so I could go to bed at 10, be up again at 11.30, then go back at 2, up again at 3.30ish, and so on. It soon settled down though, and once I could lay on my side I slept like a baby.

You've been through a big operation Mo. It's uncomfortable and all that, but be patient with yourself. It will get better, promise.
