Strictly should be lots of fun on Saturday night with the Tango and Charleston.

I'm off on holiday in the morning for two weeks but have set the record button!!!

I was away so missed it on Saturday but read the spoiler on digital spy in an internet café.

My condolences to Brendan on his bereavement, and to Ann on hers.

Brendan is my favourite male dancer.

I shall be pleased to see Ian dancing; I miss him, Darren, Lilia and Mathew, too.

Less than an hour before "kick-off" looking forward to tonight's performances, but for some reason, I am rather nervous.

Will have to go now to sort out my meal before 6pm.

Saturday night again. Hurrah.

I am all ready in my Charleston dress with fringes and hairband with a feather. Got my gold dancing shoes on.
La la, la la, la la la la Charleston .........................

Please, no more Felicity this week. I have heard her on radio, seen her on two tv shows, talking about how she would like to win, but does not think she will, she is into fitness, yes she is 64, yes she is bendy, yes she does pilates ..............................

Enough already. Just dance dear, we will decide.

Hope Alesha has a sore throat, so I wont have to hear her incessant ramblings about what SHE wants to see.

Half an hour to go.
wooooo hoooooo

Sooo looking forward to tonight.

I am wearing my Charleston dress too - lots of fringes and a headband too. All in white and sparkles and remembered my fake tan (white dresses do not look good on white / pasty bodies lol)

Limbered up this morning with a Zumba class so all ready to go.

I hope the scoring is a bit more fair this week - it is starting to get on my nerves the way some of the good dancers are marked very harshly for small mistakes and others are given nearly the same just for turning up and making it to the end ( Len & Bruno.) Craig can seem harsh, but at least he is consistent.

Off to watch now xx

Fab show. Really enjoyed it.

Still irritated by Alesha. She is really grating on me. Urgh.

Peter or Gavin to go I think. The Woodentops spring to mind.

Scott and Matt were wonderful Mean and moody tango, and really springy charleston. Gotta give them credit.

Ann .............................. what can anyone say about that gal. You have to give her credit for just being there. Her Peter Pan act was hilarious. Love Anton, the way he shepherds her around the floor.

Michelle did very well with Ian. In fact better than she did with Brendan. Maybe Ian suits her style better.

Time will tell who will go.

Joy

Joy Report 23 Oct 2010 22:51

I think Gavin should have gone.

ElizabethK Report 24 Oct 2010 11:50

Ian is taller than Brenden which may have helped Michelle

About half an hour to go before Blast Off.

Really looking forward to it. It is touch and go whether Michelle will take part. Brendan is back, but she has hurt her ankle and is on crutches. Presumably she will get a 'buy' through to next week.

Pleeeeeeeeaaaaaasssssse, let Gavin go this week. What is wrong with his face, it doesnt move.

Paso wotsit tonight. Have my red and black dress on ready for the bullfight. I shall whirl and twirl with the rest of them in my black patent shoes.

Looking forward to Anton and Ann. Good entertainment, if not good dancing.

See Alesha was flogging her new albumn on It Takes Two. Convenient that she is a judge, but also has her own career to promote too. Cynical moi, never.

Another great week .... loved the costumes ... especially the mens.

Natalie (Scott's partner) always seems to do an incredible job on the choreography, they were great this week as always.
Jimi's make-up was really great ... I oonder if some of the make-up people will be on TT this week?

I won't comment further at the moment, in case anyone is reading this but hasn't seen tonughts performances yet.

Except to say .... Well worth watching!!!!

I definitely agree with you Tess,i thought tonight's show was just great.

Jimmy's eyes! sinister wooo and Brendan's wig!!!.... the costumes keep getting better every series don't they?

One small crit. I do wish the camera men would let us see the footwork more,it does annoy me when sometimes important stages/angles are missed.

Wonder who'll go this week?

Mau

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 30 Oct 2010 21:02

I agree. What is it with the camera work. Enough to make you sea sick. All that twirling around. I just wanna see them dance.

Scott, Jimmi and Kara really good.

Felicity dont like criticism does she. She pursed her lips when they told her, her mistakes.

What it is with Gavin and taking his top off. Just dance man, stop preening.

Nickydownsouth

Nickydownsouth Report 30 Oct 2010 23:00

Think Gavin could be going this week.....unless Ann stops getting the public behind her.

Wasn`t Scott brilliant...a complete natural, its hard to tell who is the proffesional and who isn`t with him and Natalie.

I'm not surprised it was between Tina and Felicity, but I couldn't call it,and felt sorry for poor Tina she looked so sad.

I think Ann will leave the show if her 'popularity'(for want of a better word) stops the true talent from winning. She's enjoying the dancing but I think she'll be fair in the end.....and so she should....it might be entertainment for some watching her but not to turn Strictly into a farce!

There are some cracking dancers this year!

Sorry, I think the Plank should have left.

Rippling muscles dont make up for two left feet.

MotownGal Report 5 Nov 2010 07:47

Did anyone see the photo of Ann in yesterdays newspapers.

Poor love has been practicing so hard she fell asleep on the train from Herts to London. A very short journey.

She was pictured, head against the window, with her mouth wide open.

Shame. What rotter caught that on their mobile I wonder.

Kathlyn Report 5 Nov 2010 10:11

I think Ann should either be voted out or she should resign. Anton and Ann have given us such fantastic entertainment, I have never laughed at Ann but with her. To be fair, better dancers have been voted off in favour of Ann.

The BBC should have Ann out of the competition, BUT keep her and Anton in each week as entertainment, they are fantastic.
