As Hayley has mentioned the Christian Thread and as John and I are the only regular contributors to that thread, I feel I ought to make it clear that, as far as I am concerned, all hell does not break out when anyone else posts on it. I know that John is of the same mind.

I was very saddened by Hayley's pancake recipe being RR'd and did, in fact, send her the following message the following morning:

Hello Hayley,

I'm sorry your pancake recipe had disappeared before I had a chance to see it.

Would you like to post it on the thread again please - Ollietheowl is looking for fillings for pancakes to raise money for a good cause.

You are welcome on the Christian thread anytime - as is everyone as far as I am concerned. Hope you are well.

With love. Cynthia.

To which Hayley replied....."Thank you".

A little perspective here friends.

There is genocide, murder, corruption by governments, heads of state and corporations. Epidemics, starvation, oppression of whole nations and martyrs trying to change the status quo.

Never mind, let's get upset by an alternative view on GR, that's much more important to address.

We cannot put a foot wrong, say something against the establishment, last time I checked it wasn't even a breach of the peace to do so. On here it's a hanging offence to question the church and it's wrongs.

Good eh?

Tit for tat AnnCardiff ?

That's not for me. If someone on here wants to post derogatory remarks about me that's their problem, not mine. I have a life outside this site.

AnnCardiff

I have a life also but that doesn't stop me liking a bit of tit for tat

I am actually please Cythia post the PM and certainly please she post my reply which shows for how cross I was I did have the good manners to reply, so I do hope it isnt RR.

I would also like to point out that I kept may tone polite as well on the christian thread even though I did go off topic and that was to prove apoint, unlike some that have post on this thread, please look on the christian thead and read back here and see the difference!!!

and lastly as I have gone off topic sorry to OFITG but enough is enough.

And on topic my thoughs are still the same ,NO to priest being married :-D

Hey up Errol....only one service for me .......all done and dusted by 1 pm.

You rarely get more than 2 services in C. of E. churches these days . John's is the one who rushes from chapel to chapel :-)

Ha ho I have a super idea, lets ban, religion, Wales, politics, not in any particular order, for a month. See if alternative threads throw up such discord.

I went to church twice a day as a child. Woe betides, RC!

I learned many things, I forgot many things, I disagreed with many things.....one thing that resonated........love and understanding

It still sticks, most days, maybe try it yourselves

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 24 Feb 2013 20:22

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 24 Feb 2013 20:29

If we ban all that it will be very quiet - we will see tumbleweed blowing down the centre of the board.

Hello Cynthia - I hope you had a good service today.
