Sharron, much of this was read out on the radio this evening and I thought the judge did a very good job considering the constraints on her.

I have read it and from what the judge said she got it exactly right. MP was a self serving control freak and if he was crossed would retaliate with violence just to get it his own way. He manipulated all those around him to try to reach is own aims.

His mistress was the only person in this tragedy that escaped his evil ways, along with her children who will still be scarred knowing that their father was responsible for the deaths of five of their half brothers and one sister.

I can only surmise from reading what the judge said that the mistress decided to call it a day because his legal wife would not agree to a divorce so he would be free to remarry her.

the editor of a Derbyshire newspaper made a very telling comment - he said it was the first time in his life that Mick had been told what to do by a woman and he had to do it

I noticed in some film clip of him with half his brood his mother was sitting on the sofa - I wonder what she thinks of her lovely son today

From what I,ve read about it today it seems the prison he is in at the moment is the same one that "Charles Bronson" is in,Would,nt it be nice if they had to share a Cell together.?

you can bet your pension he will have all sorts of misshaps inside

mess with kids and women outside you get dealt with inside

Porkie_Pie

Porkie_Pie Report 5 Apr 2013 16:21

Merlin, I don't think that will happen, Wakefield is a high-security prison so has single occupancy cells but I'm sure someone will find a way to get to him

Bronson/ Peterson did manage to take a hostage whilst in Wakefield

My wife worked in the prison hospital at Liverpool back in the 1980's and the most frequent injuries were to those who had messed with kids or women. All were listed as having fallen down the stairs, or walked into something.

A lot of people have said that 15 years minimum is not enough. Don't worry, Philpott is so violent by nature that he will be unable to hold his temper. He will be in so much trouble all through his jail term that the parole board will never let him out.

Personally I hope they release him after 25 years, by then he will be 81, institutionalized and a bumbling toothless old man.

He certainly won't be able to go dogging !
