thank you all had a reasonable day yes I have plenty of tea bags son got a big load from the cash and carry I don't drink the horrible brew I like coffee only have not drunk tea for 40 yrs. only liked it when I was working on the ashphalt when we brewed it in a galivenized bucket on a fire devil it had bits of diesel floating on the top that's a proper brew for men. had a mixed day with pain nothing to heavy but pain nether the less. go to have bloods done in morning to see if I can have next round of chemo fingers crossed.
hope it stays dry while I am out things to do hopefully should get a few things done I want to buy my granddaughter a nice piece of bling to remember me by shes not into this modern stuff only like antiuqe stuff . don't have a clue what to get I can but try.i,m so out of touch with these youngsters tastes. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Why not have a look for the bling and shortlist some pieces and take your granddaughter to see them? It might be an extra special time for her to share the choice with you, something she will remember and treasure as much as the actual item. It's a lovely idea to buy her something special.

yippie got out of this cell today for a couple of hours it was great went to town got my sweeties torpedoes which I adore , banking ,coffee was so nice had my bloods done as well got to phone later to get results. lizz I would love to take granddaughter to look round trouble is she at unni so not possible how ever spoke to daughter I have decided to get her a cameo brooch which is what shes in to stuff like that so sorted. thank you dutch was only thinking of you the other day and thought I must send you a message I do hope you are getting on a bit better and are doing what jan and doctors are telling you please take care love from us xxx :-D :-D :-D

Glad that you enjoyed your day out today...... torpedoes sweets Michael, are they the ones with the liquorice in the centre? I loved them as a youngster (many moons ago) especially the red ones as I used to paint my mouth like an adult's lipstick ha ha

A cameo brooch for your granddaughter sounds lovely and special Michael, she is sure to treasure this gift always. Fingers crossed for good blood results tomorrow so you will be allowed to continue with the chemo. Hope your pain lessens, relax now. xx

Kandj yes they are the ones not the little comforts only have 4 per day their lush blood test came back ok so chemo tomorrow so back on track

That sounds nice Michael, Cameo brooches are very pretty aren't they? It will mean so much to your granddaughter. Didn't realise she was away at Uni.

I hope today is good day for you even with having the chemo and you will enjoy your liquorice torpedos too. I never liked them myself, can't stand licquorice or aniseed.

The idea of the cameo brooch sounds lovely but your granddaughter will treasure whatever you give her, simply because you have chosen it specially for her.

What a lovely gift for your granddaughter, something she will cherish I'm sure.

When one of my granddaughters was 21 I gave her a white gold locket and chain in which I had printed a birthday message for the day and placed inside. As it was a traditional design I knew she wouldn't be wearing it every-day but knew that it would be something she would keep in remembrance of me.:-)
Truly hope that your blood tests were ok for you to continue your Chemo today Michael.

thank you all well picked up chemo tablets to day start them tomorrow not had a good day been in a lot of pain all day its only just started to ease now, just cant seem to get comfortable,
I prob wont be on line tomorrow I think I will have a pj day and read on my kindle I was at the hospital for 5 hrs today think its taken its toll on me that's the problem of getting old cant stand the pace of all the rushing about . lol :-) :-) :-)

Hopefully you will start to feel better very soon. My BIL is coming towards the end of his Chemo treatment, it's been a tough road but he is getting there. My thoughts and best wishes to you and your wife.

hi all well the blood test were ok picked up my chemo while I was at the hospital they decided that as I was also taking tablets for my osteophorosis that it would be better if they gave me an infusion so it would be one less tablet to take, which I would have once every three weeks.
well took my chemo then it happened three hours later I threw the lot up so don't know if the chemo had a chance to do its job or not so ended up in bed all day and most of to day.
so they can stuff that I will not be having that again no way hopefully I will be able to have some proper food tomorrow instead of soup. my poor wife was running round like a blue a****fly all day trying to clean up after me that woman should have a medal for the way she is coping with it all .she is my rock.
my niece phoned and came running to help her she spent several hours helping.
on the bright side I am feeling a lot better not so much pain this evening trouble is as I have been sleeping for the last day and a half I,m not tired .
I take my hat off to all the people who care for people that they love they don't get the praise they deserve. well done to all of them. :-D :-D :-D
