Oh dear Michael. Not a good couple of days for you or your wife. Thank goodness you have a lovely family near so that your niece could come to help and support the two of you. I hope and pray that today will be so much better for you all. xx

Hello Michael, I have just read the last couple of days of your thread. I'm so sorry that you are going through bad side effects to the new chemo. I hope they can change that for you. It is hard on your wife and she does everything because she loves you. I'm sure you would do the same for her xx

Sorry the last couple of days have been pretty grim for you and hope you are feeling a bit better now. I am glad you have a supportive family; they will be a great help to yourself and Mrs Michael. You both seem to be coping so well and if I had a hat I'd take it off to you.

Sending you my best wishes

Poor you Michael, what a shame the different meds upset you so badly. I do hope you managed to get some sleep after all and will feel a bit better today. It was good of your niece to come and help your wife, who I am sure tho worried about you is happy to support you and care for you in whatever way is needed.

Maybe some visitors today will help cheer you up, but if no one comes enjoy the peace and rest with your wife.

hi well the sickness has gone its left me feeling very tired wanting to sleep a lot yesterday the district nurse came to do mybloods for my diabeties which were a little up but nothing to worry about told her that the doctors will not give me strips she could not understand why and will look in to it for me.
apart from that I am not in as much pain as before morphine is helping to control it.
I have to go for more blood tests on the 25 to see if I can have my next chemo, I will be telling them I will not have the infusion for my oseophoris again I cant go though that again will just stick with chemo.
had two more visitors to day

two more coming tomorrow is nice to see them all If I get a bit tired I just take me self off for a lay down they understand that im not being rude they then can talk about me to the wife.
the wife is coping well at the moment I think she says shes ok. but with her op next month I am beging to worry about her.
its a good job we have this care package in place so should work out fine might have a few blips to start with but nothing we can over come.
:-D :-D :-D love to you all <3 <3 <3 <3

Hello Michael, glad to read you got over that bout of sickness and that the morphine is helping control the pain.

I know from my own experience that cancer treatments like chemo and radiotherapy can really take a lot out of you. I hope your blood tests next week are all OK and that you can get back on course with your treatment - take care and get plenty of rest.

Glad you are feeling a bit better Michael, I wonder if the osteo infusin and the chemo clashed which is why you were so ill. Pleased for you that the morphine is keeping the pain under control.

I think it was the osteoporosis meds that they changed for an infusion. I don't think it was the chemo was it Michael? Or am I confused?

I hope that you are feeling a bit stronger now and that you have been able to eat to build up your strength.
